I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from McMaster University and have completed advanced training in evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have a special interest in the treatment of trauma, complex PTSD, emotion dysregulation, borderline personality disorder (BPD), high-conflict relationships, and intergenerational trauma.
In my clinical practice, I also support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, burnout, chronic stress, insomnia, and relationship challenges. My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and scientific integrity. I aim to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.
My research on emotion regulation has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. I’ve also been featured in outlets like Psychology Today, Forbes, and Therapy Tips, where I share insights on mental health, relational wellness, and the science behind emotions.
